The European alternative to high-performance chalk comes from Belgian manufacturer Chalk Rebels, who stick to the core idea of achieving maximum performance with minimal chalk use. Their products are based on the purest magnesium carbonate, once again sourced from seawater.
In their premium lines, they add Upsalite – a specially engineered form of magnesium carbonate. Think of it as a sponge that absorbs sweat from your fingers. The addition of Upsalite can double the performance of the chalk.
Chalk Rebels also care about the rock and artificial holds, which is why their chalk is made without rosin – a substance that, over time, has proven to degrade holds.
